Help make a difference!

ADVISORY COUNIL

The Jamestown Farmers Market Advisory Council is a hands-on, team-driven group of community members who help shape the future of our local food system. Together, we help to connect the community with farmers and their products, support food access initiatives, and help small farms and businesses thrive.

Council members do more than just attend meetings—they share ideas, make decisions, and learn from one another while working to strengthen our Saturday Market and other food access based programs. Whether you bring expertise in areas like marketing, fundraising, HR, IT, or simply your passion for local food and community, your unique perspective is valued.

We meet quarterly (in person or virtually) and also participate in smaller committees focused on operations, community events, fundraising and marketing, and community engagement. Along the way, members experience the joy of market days, build new relationships, and truly make a difference in Jamestown.

If you’re looking for a meaningful, collaborative opportunity to give back and grow, we’d love to hear from you! Any questions, reach out to the Food Access Manager at 716-640-2173.
