    Role Overview

    The Program Manager oversees several key community food programs at the Jamestown Farmers Market, helping expand access to healthy food while supporting local farmers and building strong community connections. This front-facing role coordinates food distribution programs, manages logistics and volunteers, and helps create welcoming spaces where community members can connect with fresh, local food.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee multiple food access and community agriculture programs, including food box delivery initiatives and senior nutrition programs, the Mobile Market, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, and the seasonal Community Garden

    • Manage program logistics including food inventory, deliveries, participant communication, and volunteer coordination

    • Support operations and customer engagement at the Jamestown Farmers Market

    • Maintain program records, assist with grant reporting, and represent programs in a professional and welcoming manner

    This role combines program management and hands-on work to ensure that local food reaches the people who need it while strengthening the local food system.
